In the week's running up to your showcase game, we recommend the following:

  • Find out more information on the level of clubs you wish to attract

  • Be physically fit enough to play football at a high tempo for a whole match

  • Think about how you want to perform and the impression you wish to give

  • Be prepared to answer questions on your aspirations

  • Planning your journey to the showcase games. Don't be late.

  • If you are injured in the run up to a showcase game, let us know as we can manage your trial or offer an alternative date.

The day before:

Pack your bag: Make sure you have the following items ready, don't wait until the day itself:

  • A large Sports Bag to contain all items

  • Astroturf trainers

  • Shin pads

  • Training tracksuit top

  • Come dressed to play - Shorts, socks and football shirt, this should be suitable for training and a good fit for you to be comfortable - you will be provided a numbered bib or shirt. (COVID)

The night before:

The evening before your showcase game, we recommend you:

Eat right:

Make sure you plan you 'fuel' for the next day.

Sleep right:

Don't let nerves get the better of your and avoid eating and drinking items such as caffeine, alcohol and any stimulants.

On the day

Arrive early:

Get to the ground early to feel comfortable and prepared

Do your best:

Remember you are here to do your best and showcase your ability, but remember coaches and scouts will also be judging your approach, interaction with other players and willingness to listen.

Be realistic:

We all dream of being scouted and recognised, this may take time Scouts may not review your details straight away. However being on the platform and building up more game data will set you apart from others and give a clear picture of your abilities.

Know the stats:

Look through the example of the data below and know the areas that data will be looking at.
